* As mentioned on previous post: i've been digging into PortableApps.com's Launcher coding and trying to remove as many "Private Variables". In this process.. i goofed on a language variable which caused MessageBoxes to not appear in selected language. This is now fixed.

    1. of course! thanks for the update.. i use this myself.. ESET is the only Internet Security to not bog down my laptop!

      I've used Kaspersky, and takes portableapps minutes to load.. never again. :)

      Be patient.. im working on an app. right now.. but almost done.

  2. Most of the time, slow internet speed because of an antivirus is caused by some specific scanning functions, it's more secure, but scanning all links in a webpage can take soooo long.
    That's why i always disable this kind of stuff.

      - save as .xml, import, then proof check settings.

      AV, Internet Security are too deeply integrated into the OS. If you're looking for a manual AV scanner, take a look at ClamWin.
